S DRA has recovered a lot of second-hand cotton and other blended fabrics to make new breakthroughs in new clothing and textiles.

S DRA, the largest forest owner association in Sweden, has developed a new method to extract cotton and polyester fabric from cotton and polyester, which helps to recover the advantages of large-scale fiber recovery from the blended fabric.

One of the main obstacles to textile recycling is that cloth is usually blended with materials. S e DRA points out that no one in the world can recycle fibers from blended fabrics in large scale.

S DRA has some 52000 forest owners in southern Sweden. The association has been investing in developing and investing in the industrial process of blending cellulose fibers from wood with a large number of waste textiles. The report points out that its research and development results are "a brand new raw material and ready to re-enter the textile industry".

The new technology of S o DRA can separate cotton and polyester fabric into pure cotton and raw polyester material, which is one of the most widely used textiles in the market. Cotton fiber is then added to S DRA textile pulp for use in new textile production.

Johannes Bogren, President of S dra Cell Bioproducts, said: "we are now redesigning the road map of the fashion and textile industry through the provision of textile fiber recycling processes. A sweater can now turn into a sweater again. This will create additional value for our customers, especially for the fashion industry. This is an important day for us, and also an important moment for the emerging recycling economy. "

In autumn, S o DRA's pulp mill at M rrum rrum produced wood pulp after adding 20 tons of second-hand textiles. At present, S o DRA can only accept white textiles, but its aim is to find a solution to decolorization.

It also plans to promote a study of the extraction of a set of residual products from polyester fibers. Besides polyester and cotton blended fabrics, Viscose and Lyocell two products are also tested.

Berendsen, a laundry and textile service provider in Sweden, provided test materials for the pilot project, including waste sheets, towels, tablecloths, bathrobes and other products in hospitals and restaurants.

Looking forward to the future, S DRA said that this year's production is expected to start at 30 tons "low volume", and the long-term goal is to increase 25 thousand tons of textiles with the company's pulp production.
